Today

James had his surgery today. All went very well. He seems to be in good spirits about everything. In some pain but not too much. Hopefully tomorrow won't bring more pain! He will be off from work for a couple of weeks. And once he returns he'll be on restricted duty for awhile. Thanks for all the prayers already and please continue to pray for his recovery.

Surgery

Surgery has been scheduled for Thursday, Feb 5 at 11:30am. Please pray that all goes well. James will be off from work for a couple of weeks. Hopefully he will have a speedy recovery!!!!

Keeping You All On Your Toes

Well, as many of you already know, James and I have been going thru a really tough time in our marriage. We are both committed to working things out and becoming a better couple and family. And of course to do this, we are needing God's help and prayers from our friends and family. So please pray that God's will be done and that we will have open hearts and listen to Him.
Next thing that has gone wrong/bad, Faith and I spent 2 hours in the urgent care this past Saturday as our cat Frankie bit her. Faith was trying to be nice and feed Frankie her breakfast...except Frankie got all excited about food and just bit down and bit hard! She screamed and her finger was bleeding, swelled up and was all red. So, off we went. She's ok. She's on an anti-biotic and Frankie has to be in quaratine for 10 days. I'm not worried, Frankie is up to date on shots and he'll be ok. As will Faith.
Next Up is James. He has a hernia. He got injured at work a few weeks ago and at first it was diagnosed as a pulled muscle. Well....he's been in a lot of pain lately so back to the doctor he went yesterday and said that yup, there's definitely something not right. So he's seeing a specialist tomorrow afternoon. Which means...surgery will probably be approaching soon. So please keep him in your prayers during this time!
On a good note, Faith and I started Spanish lessons today! It's a 8 week course at Calvin Elementary. Today went really well. Looking forward to next week!

Pony!!

Faith's hair is long enough to fit into a pony! I'm super excited! She looks soooo grown up with it in! Here are a few pics of her with her hair up.

So lately Faith has been taking off her shirt and/or lifting it up in public. So we've been telling her "no" and putting her clothes back on. The first two pictures are of her taking off her sweater the other day. I left the room for like a second and she managed to get it off!

Yup, that's right! Our darling little daughter has figured out how to take off her jammies AND her diaper!!! No wonder she was laughing so hard in her crib this morning. She was having a party! LOL

Our Christmas

We had a good Christmas this year. It started on Tuesday evening when we went to my parents house to celebrate it there with my parents and my brother. Faith sure had a bunch of goodies to open! And of course...I didn't have my camera with me! Wednesday we had Russ, Marilyn and Gma Bosma over for dinner and then gifts. Faith again had some fun things to open. On Christmas day we went to church and then went to my parents house again to celebrate it with my mom's side of the family. So good to see everyone and be together. Faith had fun playing with her cousins their (my cousins kids actually...)and had fun with the bows from all the gifts. She just loved every minute. Here are some pictures of our gatherings.

Snow Snow and More Snow!!!

We got TONS of snow today. Started in the middle of the night and continued until about 1pm today. Sure was crazy! The snow plows couldn't keep up. Feel so bad for those drivers. They are probably working a really long day/night! We are supposed to get even more snow on Sunday. They are predicting another 8 inches! We probably have close to a foot of snow already from today.
