Snow Snow and More Snow!!!

We got TONS of snow today. Started in the middle of the night and continued until about 1pm today. Sure was crazy! The snow plows couldn't keep up. Feel so bad for those drivers. They are probably working a really long day/night! We are supposed to get even more snow on Sunday. They are predicting another 8 inches! We probably have close to a foot of snow already from today.

Here is a pic of all the snow from today.

The next two pics are hard to see and I apologize for that...but it's James's truck stuck on our street!

Little Helper

Faith and I have been at my parents house the past couple of days helping my mom. Faith thinks it's fun to play with my mom's walker. I have a couple of videos of her with that on the post below.
Yesterday when we were there, Faith decided to help her grampie with paperwork while he was home on his lunch break. She kept stealing all his pencils and pens and my dad was just a laughing. It was so funny. My dad would ask to have a pen back and Faith would shake her head "no" and keep moving them away from him. She is a grampie's girl. On Monday she shared his lunch with him. LOL Here are a couple of pics of her helping grampie.

Video of how smart Faith is! :)

Check-Up

Faith had her 18 month check-up today. All went very well. She is 31 1/4" long and weighs in at a whopping 19.8 pounds! We were thinking she was at least 20 pounds, but...not quite yet. She is still our little peanut!

Been Awhile

Sorry that I haven't been updating as frequent as in the past. Life has just gotten really busy and I forget about updating! Or when I think of updating, I just don't have time. So I thought I would take a few minutes this morning and update you on things.
My mom had partial knee replacement surgery yesterday. All went well. She was in a lot of pain last night when we visited her so hopefully that will get under control for her. She already had physical therapy this morning and will have it again this afternoon. Going to be painful for her for awhile but praying that she will have a speedy recovery! She is anticipating coming home on Sunday.
James's job is going really well. He has been working in Greenville for quite some time now. He is so glad he made the switch with employers. He likes the guys he's working for and is enjoying his work once again.
I, too am enjoying my job! I am so thankful that God placed this job in my lap. It was hard at first to be away from Faith but it has gotten easier. Still hard at times. But once I'm at work, I just focus on what I have to do there and it's great. Faith enjoys her grandma Overbeek watching her on Thursdays and loves daycare on Fridays. She gets to play with other children and just has fun. On Saturday's she's with her dada. Whom she just adores!
Faith is getting so big! Tomorrow she will be 18 months! Sure is hard to believe! We are just so amazed with everything that she knows. She is one smart cookie! We are thinking of starting to potty train her shortly. She has shown signs of being ready without us even teaching her. So I'm gonna get some potty training books from the library and read up on it before we attempt! So we'll see how it goes!
We are looking forward to spending Christmas with our family. Christmas Eve we are having Russ, Marilyn and Grandma Bosma over for supper and open gifts after that. And on Christmas Day we will be with my family at my parents house. Still hard to believe that Christmas is less than 2 weeks away! Sure did come quickly this year!!

Croup

Please pray for Faith as she has croup right now. She has a mild case of it and we're praying that it doesn't develop into anything more. Thanks.
