Our Trip

Wow...can't believe that our trip to Colorado is over with. We had such a great time. Below are a few pictures from our time there. We have about 200 pictures that we took. Our time was filled with many activities. Once we arrived on Tuesday we met up with Levi, Kayla, Lucas and Jessica and we drove into Golden, CO and walked around a park there. It was beautiful! Then we dropped them off as James and I enjoyed the evening to ourselves. We went to dinner at the Downtown Aquarium. It was a great evening. Lots of fish swimming around us and the food was excellent! Wednesday the guys had the bachelor party all day and evening. They started the day off by going thru Busch brewery and then Whitewater Rafting! James will have to tell you his wonderful story of falling out. Well...almost falling out. If his foot wasn't held in, he would've been completely under water! The guys rented a hotel room downtown and all crashed there for the night. Us gals went out for lunch and to the Denver Zoo. For supper just Kayla, Jessica and I went. Then we just crashed at the hotel. Thursday the guys went and got their tuxes while all of us ladies went and got our nails done. We had manicure and pedicures done. Sure was a relaxing time. We met up with the guys for lunch and then Lucas, Jessica, Dave, James and I went to the Coors brewery. After that it was time for the rehearsal dinner. That went good. Got to meet Kayla's family and some more of Levi's also. Just relaxed after that. Friday the guys went for lunch while the bridal party got their hair done and then picked up Jessica and I at the hotel and off to the Castle we went! We rode in a Hummer stretch limo! Sure was a nice relaxing ride. Our driver was super cool. The castle was amazing! People actually live in this place and rent out a part of it. Just beautiful. The land was gorgeous. It's 20 acres in the mountains. The wedding was just fantastic and everyone had a good time. The evening went by too quickly though. Levi and Kayla looked stunning!!! It was definitely a fairy tale wedding. Yesterday we traveled home. It was soooo good to see Faith when we got off the plane. I went running to her and just squeezed her and gave her TONS of kisses. We missed her so much. I called everyday and talked to her. So glad that she had a good time with her grammie and grampie. She got spoiled!!
Today we've just been relaxing and enjoying our time together and tomorrow is the beginning of another work week for James. Thankfully it's a short one though!
